The Line – Heads (Matching Heartache With Hard Work)
A horror story about a paranoid and lonely member of a Faculty’s Golf Society who yearns for acceptance but sabotages himself. He's concussed in a fight leading to a feverish flashback, in which he unreliably and inadequately justifies how he got in this situation, narcissistically framing himself as a victim of a preternatural plot, not unlike a human golf ball.
Shot by award winning cinematographer Joseph Ingersoll and music by The Line(Brian Dillon of acclaimed experimental band Meltybrains?)

Ryan Vail releases harrowing new video for latest track ‘Breaking Minds’
Inspired by a scene in Vladimir Nabokov’s Laughter in the Dark, a recently blinded man is plagued by guilt and jealousy. While scamming him out of his estate, his girlfriend and her sadistic ex, entertain themselves by poking his insecurities, reminiscent of a taunting poltergeist.
Winner of the First Cut Film Festival music video competition, organized by Brendan Canty and David Lester Mooney of FeelGoodLost, for the song by BBC featured artist Ryan Vail. Shot by award winning cinematographer Joseph Ingersoll.
